we're getting married!

It’s taken a while – 10 years to be exact – but we’re delighted to say we are finally tying the knot on Tuesday, December 29th 2026. Here are some key details at a glance:

The Ceremony at St Martin's Church.

We Do

Our wedding ceremony begins at 12 pm sharp at St Martin's Church in Caerphilly. The bride and groom will then go off for a quick photoshoot while guests make their way to the next venue. We won't be sitting down for food until later on, so we highly recommend eating a hearty breakfast or bringing a snack for after the ceremony.

2:00pm

Arrival Drinks at Courts.

We Drink

Guests will then make their way to Courts in Penarth for arrival drinks at 2 pm, where we will then spend the rest of the evening. Scroll down to see addresses for each venue, as well as some nearby hotels if you'd like to book a room.

3:30pm

Wedding Breakfast/Lunch

We Eat

At 3 pm, we will make our way to the upstairs restaurant in Courts where we will enjoy a delicious three course meal. Menus will become available later in the year, where we you can select your starter, main, and dessert.

6:00pm

Toasts and Speeches

We Toast

Once we're all full of food and wine, it's time for speeches! We'll laugh, we'll cry - but most of all, Ross will probably be yawning by this point.

7:30pm

Evening guests arrive.

We Party

After food, we'll move the party downstairs. Evening guests will start to arrive and we'll all put on our dancing shoes. There'll be a DJ and some activities to keep us all busy.

8:30pm

Evening buffet and nibbles.

We Graze

There'll be a buffet of pizzas and little snacks for you all to nibble on. It's a long day, so you'll probably need it.

1:00am

At 1am, it's time to go home. We've loved having you. But as you all know, Ross needs his sleep.

Daytime guests will be treated to a three-course wedding breakfast starting at 3 pm. We recommend eating a big breakfast or bringing some snacks to tie you over.

You will have a choice of three options for each course. We’ll be in touch closer to the date with the final menu and to secure your order. So stay tuned for that.

There’ll also be a buffet of pizza and picky bits available later on at 8 pm.

That’s right. Against our better judgment, we are taking song requests*. Anything goes**, so if there’s something in particular you’d like to hear, we’ll add it to the playlist.

*Don’t bother requesting Taylor Swift and Harry Styles. Katie’s already got that covered.
